Junior/mid iOS developer

Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37.5hrs /week, (Mon-Fri)
Salary: £30k – £45k (experience dependent)

Role description

As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications that exemplify our commitment to quality and innovation. Your role will be instrumental in delivering mobile solutions that meet the unique needs and expectations of our partners.

Working closely with Designers, Developers and Project Managers on a day to day basis we foster a supportive environment looking for ambitious individuals eager to grow and learn from the team around them.

Essential skills
  • Proven experience (2 years+) in iOS app development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • Proficiency in Swift
  • Strong understanding of iOS SDK, Xcode, and development tools
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party library integration
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to code quality
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Desirable skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with The Composable Architecture (TCA)
  • Experience with dependency injection
  • Proficiency with SwiftUI
  • Knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and UI/UX design principles.
  • Proficiency with writing testable, maintainable code and useful unit/integration tests
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Contributions to open-source projects or personal apps on the App Store
