Reinvigorating the Veygo app, evolving their product features to reach new markets.

Veygo’s rebrand meant a whole new look and feel for their digital products. After a successful two-year partnership with their team, working on their hugely popular native mobile apps, we were in a great position to enhance their user experience and competitive positioning when they felt it was time to refresh their brand identity.

By visually aligning their app with their new branding, user expectations and market fit, we successfully relaunched Veygo’s mobile presence into the insurance market, driving engagement, retention, and further growth. This exemplifies our commitment to delivering strategic, user-centred solutions that drive tangible results for our partners.

Extensive design system refresh

Having created a solid foundational design system it allowed for seamless component upgrades. Our close collaborative partnership meant the updated UI aligned with the brand’s core identity and strategic objectives, maintaining a consistent brand image across all native platforms and touchpoints.

Cross-departmental collaboration

It was important to ensure the brand refresh addressed the needs and expectations of all relevant stakeholders and the company’s strategic direction. We confidently collaborated across departments, including marketing, product development, brand and executive leadership to directly communicate the vision for the app.

No design system is ever complete. Post-launch adaptations will always evolve. Our ongoing involvement allows for a more responsive and user-centric approach to design adjustments and updates by monitoring user feedback and analytics to make continuous improvements.

Long-term investment – Subscriptions

Increasing customer retention and converting users to a long-term investment with Veygo was a challenge we welcomed. Delving deep into the problem space and identifying key customer needs helped to form the new purchase journey that is subscriptions. The previously existing web based purchase journey can now be completed directly within the app, allowing customers to buy, view and manage all their Veygo policies on the go.

Real-time user updates

Finding new ways of users remaining engaged with their short term cover was important. By implementing iOS’s Live Activity feature customers can view exactly when their insurance is going to end and have the option to extend if needed. Increasing the discoverability of these conversion points was a great gain for Veygo and the overall customer experience of the app.
